Tomorrow is Wisconsin’s Spring Election, and this is one of those moments where student turnout can genuinely shift the direction of our state and our community. Local elections are always close, and UWSP students have the power to make a real impact.
At the top of the ballot is the race for Wisconsin Supreme Court. Judge Chris Taylor is running to protect the rights and freedoms that matter to young people across the state: from fair representation to individual liberties. Your vote helps decide the future of the court for years to come.
If you’re voting here in Stevens Point, your ballot will also include important local races, such as:
- Portage County Executive
- Stevens Point Common Council (Districts 4, 6, and 10)
- Stevens Point School Board
- Portage County Board Supervisors
These positions directly affect student life, housing, transportation, and the overall health of our community.
Where do I vote?
Go to myvote.wi.gov to find your polling place. For student living on campus it will either be in the DUC or the Rec-Center
What do I need?
Just your student ID or any valid Wisconsin photo ID.
Polls are open from 7 AM to 8 PM. Bring a friend, grab a coffee, and make a plan to vote between classes. When students show up, we change outcomes.
Let’s make tomorrow count.
