Job Description
This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Preschool Teacher in implementing and supervising the daily activities of the preschool group and providing a safe and nurturing learning environment. The assistant preschool teacher should be warm and inviting as well as show care for each child while nurturing learning.
Qualifications
Must be available 2:30pm-5pm Monday-Thursday. Occasional meetings on Friday mornings. 1. At least 18yrs old 2. ONE of the following: a. Completed 1 noncredit in Early Childhood Education Or Enrolled in 1 noncredit Early Childhood Education course within 6 months of employment b. 2 credits in Early Childhood Education Or Enrolled in 2 credit Early Childhood Education course within 6 months of employment c. Approved by WI DPI, Assistant Teacher Training Program.
