Job Description
A family in Wausau, WI is looking for a compassionate, dependable part-time caregiver to provide in-home support for their teenage child with special needs. Pay:
• $17.66/hourly
Schedule:
• Thursday thru Saturday and every other Sunday
• Part-Time (hours to be set between the Parent and Caregiver)
Tasks:
• Transfers
• Meal prep/Feeding
• Personal Cares
• Mobility
• ADL’s (bathing, grooming, dressing, etc)
• Assist with medications, when needed
• Provide safety and companionship while encouraging activity Qualifications:
• Reliable Transportation
• Prior experience working with individuals with physical disabilities is desired; however not required
• Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of employment.
• Must pass background check.
*If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
