Job Description
The primary function of the Hancock Agricultural Research Station is to provide facilities and support for the research and education programs of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. It is the responsibility of the station and its staff to assist scientists and facilitate field research, outreach and teaching programs. The mission of the Hancock Agricultural Research Station is to support the research and outreach necessary to develop and evaluate cropping systems and components that are profitable, environmentally sound, resource-sustaining and appropriate to the agriculture, forestry and natural resources on sandy soils in Wisconsin. Student Employees will help field work, potato research, gardening tasks, and other various tasks at the station.
Qualifications
Monday-Friday 8am to 4:30pm May through September (flexible) Must be at least 16 years old Pay based on experience Daily Tasks may include: garden assistant data collection planting and harvest crew landscaping farm hand
