Young Adult Care Provider
Job Description
A family in Wausau, WI is seeking a part-time caregiver to assist provide in-home support for their young adult child with special needs. This role is perfect for someone who is patient, kind, dependable, and genuinely enjoys building meaningful connections.
Schedule:
• Thursday thru Saturday and every other Sunday
• Part-time (hours are negotiable)
Tasks:
• Transfers
• Meal prep/Feeding
• Personal Cares
• Mobility
• ADL’s (bathing, grooming, dressing, etc)
• Assist with medications, when needed
• Provide safety and companionship while encouraging activity
Qualifications:
• Valid Driver's License -or- reliable transportation to and from shifts.
• Prior experience working with individuals is desired; however not required
• Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of employment.
• Must pass background check.
*If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
Qualifications
