Most advisors have sent out their advising emails to students. Now it is up to you to make an appointment and meet with your advisor. You will not be able to actually register for Spring classes until you meet with your advisor, and they release your advising hold.
You also need to complete your required registration task and make sure your tuition balance is less then $500. Take care of these things NOW so you can register at your assigned date and time and have the best chance of getting the courses you need for spring. (also look up your assigned time if you have not yet and set a reminder)
If you want to register for a WINTERIM course for January, you do NOT need to be advised and can register for courses starting on Monday, October 27.
Reminders:
If you are student teaching in the spring, you will get a “Final Student Teaching Check” emailed to you from our office that will tell you what to register for. You do not need to be advised and there is no major rush to register. BREATHE
If you are unsure if your grad plan is accurate (PE, EE, ECED, SPED majors only) you can make an appointment with Breanna or Karla to have it double checked. Call 715-346-2040 to set up an appointment.
If you received an email stating your practicum placement qualified for the Rural Teacher Talent Grant, your paperwork needs to be submitted to the OFE this week.
