Erin Scheithe has been a financial educator for more than twenty years. Currently, Erin serves the public as an Investor Communications Specialist in the Office of Investor Education and Advocacy at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Prior to joining the SEC, Erin worked for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, AARP, a small community bank, the American Bankers Association, and the North Carolina Bankers Association. She earned both her undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Virginia.
