Mission Welcome to the Fly-Fishing Club of UWSP! All are welcome, no prior skills or experience needed to join! We are here to help you!The goal of this organization is to educate, promote, and practice the sport of fly-fishing and to encourage lawful and ethical fishing practices to the student of UWSP, while having a fun and sociable time!Club Meetings: Tuesdays at 6:00 PM in C.B.B. Room 166The lectures and hands on fishing members receive at the club are fly category and tying seminars, trout scouting trips, fly-rod casting clinics, small day, and weekend trips, and two big weekend trips to the Wisconsin Driftless Region per academic year.Our club meetings comprise of said fly category and tying seminars, guest speakers, trip coordination and more!We also assist campus or outside organizations with restoration and clean-up projects whether it comes to trout streams, or anything environmental when we are called upon!Occasionally, we like to take some breaks from the waters and have social event days, (such as bowling) to allow club members to meet each other and make new friends!Benefits to official club members:Access to club fly-fishing rods, (different weights and sizes are available)Access to club fly-tying materials at our club meetingsYou may also follow our Instagram and Facebook page attached to our S.P.I.N. page to stay updated regarding some club matters via social media!We hope to see y'all soon and join us on our adventuresTight Lines
