About Us
Hello everyone and welcome to the History Club. We are an organization that promotes the study of history. Anyone is welcome to join, even if you are not a history major or minor. If you have a passion for history and would like to be a part of a group that shares your passions, join the History Club! Throughout the year, our organization puts on some key events. Since 2015, the History Club has put on the Nelson Hall Haunted History tour. By putting on the haunted tours our Club promotes researching methods, enhances interview skills, helps with public speaking, and gets you involved with the UWSP community. The History Club also travels to various historical sites/museums. If you have never been to a museum such as the Fields Museum in Chicago, or been to our State Capitol, this is your chance. The History Club also does a few low-key activities throughout the semester. Ever wanted to meet your professors face to face? Join us for meet the Professors' Night! If you are passionate about a topic, why not share in our student lecture series? Or if you are looking to unwind, why not join us for a (historical) game night. We are currently meeting Thursday nights from 6:00pm to 7:00pm in CCC 226!
