The QRC is absolutely THRILLED to announce our collaboration with the @uwspcofac to bring @mariesabelvalverde to UWSP this Coming-Out Week! We are hosting two wonder events with this AMAZING composer and we hope you all join us!
Join us Tuesday, October 7th for a forum q&a and a RSVP dinner with award-winning transgender Mexican-American composer Mari Esabel Valverde Her music has been described as “heart-stopping”, she has composed art songs, chamber music, and works for chorus, orchestra, and wind ensemble.

Queer History Jeopardy (10/8)
Join the Queer Resource Center in celebrating Queer History Month with a test of knowledge, smarts, and Jeopardy skill! Come down to the Basement Brewhaus for the ultimate gay jeopardy! Prize basket filled with local Queer goodies for the winning team! Doors open at 5:40 pm at the Basement Brewhaus - please line up OUTSIDE the Brewhaus to guarantee your spot! ~ Tickets sold for $5 at the door via cash or Venmo ~ [ Jeopardy is 18+ ]

GSA Homecoming-OUT Dance (10/10)
Welcome to the annual UWSP Gender-Sexuality Alliance Homecoming-OUT Dance! Join us Friday, October 10th at 7:00 pm in the DUC Encore for a night so fun it should be in a fairytale ~ Costumes are highly encouraged, especially those of the fairytale things variety! There will MUSIC! There will LIGHTS! There will be BUTTONS and BRACELETS! And best of all, there will be GSA's FIRST EVER HOMECOMING-OUT COSTUME CONTEST! SO bring your best!

- $0 if you bring a non-perishable food donation for the cupboard!
