The Of the Month (OTM) Recognition Process is designed to celebrate individuals, organizations, communities, and programs that have made a meaningful impact on our campus community throughout the month. OTMs provide an opportunity to intentionally recognize leadership, service, innovation, support, advocacy, teamwork, and the everyday efforts that often go unnoticed.
When submitting an OTM, focus on the nominee’s specific contributions, accomplishments, and impact during the selected month. Strong submissions highlight how the individual, group, or program went above and beyond expectations and positively influenced residents, peers, staff, or the broader campus community.
Please select the category that best aligns with the nominee or program. Categories are intended to recognize different forms of excellence, including student leadership, residential engagement, staff support, educational initiatives, service efforts, community building, recognition, and more. If you are unsure which category best fits, choose the option that most closely reflects the primary impact of the contribution.
We encourage nominators to provide detailed examples, meaningful stories, and specific outcomes rather than general praise. The strongest OTMs clearly explain why the nominee’s efforts mattered and how they created a lasting or significant impact on the community.

OTM nominations must be submitted by 11:59 PM on the 1st of the following month.
Example: February OTMs are due by March 1 at 11:59 PM.
