Meeting Recap

Thanks to all that came out to our meeting on Wednesday! For those who couldn’t make it, I’ll attach our presentation here. The meeting was pretty brief, the main point was if you are interested in coming on our Mt. Bohemia trip in March, it is highly recommended that you purchase a Mt. Bohemia season pass. Luckily the Boho season pass is only $110 and includes a ton of partner resorts which you can get day(s) at with your boho pass. We recommend buying this pass because Saturdays at Mt. Bohemia are season pass holders only. You will break even on your pass in 1 weekend at Boho. The pass goes on sale next week on Wednesday the 27th, and they only sell a certain amount. So, if you are interested make sure to buy that pass as it is the most cost-efficient way to go on this trip. We will have more exact details about the Boho trip when the time gets closer.

Merch

If you ordered merchandise, first of all thank you! We had most people pick up their merch during the meeting, but we still have a few left-over t-shirts and sweatshirts. If you still don’t have your merch, please reach out to me via email eneum058@uwsp.edu and we can coordinate some sort of pickup or drop off.

Granite Peak

Granite has announced their tentative opening date of December 6th! They put out a newsletter with some interesting information in it. If the opening days weather is somewhat decent, we will do an opening day grill out. Keep an eye out in the snapchat group chat for carpooling opportunities on opening day and info of the grill out.

Waxing Clinic


Now that Granite Peak has announced their opening day, we will have our first waxing clinic on Wednesday December 4th. There will be an event made in SPIN for this with exact time and place, but pencil in your calendars for around 6pm. The waxing clinic does require club dues to be paid which is $10. Luckily, if you paid for merch or a trip, that covers your club dues! Feel free to bring cash to the clinic or pay to our club Venmo @uwsp_sns.  If you have never waxed your own gear before this is a great opritunity to lean how to. As everyone goes home for Thanksgiving break, make sure to bring back your gear, and we hope to see you all at the waxing clinic or at Granite opening day!
