Mission
The Adventure Club is an organization dedicated to the exploration of the unknown; to travel to parts beyond for the sole sake of the journey. These journeys consist of various physically demanding outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, backpacking, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, and any other conceivable activity of this nature. We aim to increase members’ knowledge and experience of these activities through jaunts and journeys throughout the state and country. The goal of the Adventure Club is to subsidize travel expenses and maintain a collection of community equipment to facilitate these expeditions so that UWSP students can be enriched by some of the most fulfilling pursuits on earth.

Meetings are every other Tuesday at 8:00 pm and will be held in CCC 101.

The purpose of this organization is to provide the student body with the opportunity for recreational and competitive bass fishing opportunities. Our club competes locally and nationally in collegiate bass fishing tournaments.

Mission
The purpose of the club baseball team is to provide an opportunity for students to continue to play the game we all know and love. This team provides baseball for students that is separate to the varsity team and separate from their respective summer leagues. Our team plays ball for the NCBA; Through which we are a Division two team in the Northern Plains West Conference. We compete against teams in the past like UW-Madison, UW-Lacrosse, Winona State, and Northern Illinois to name a few. This year we will be going and facing the top dogs University of North Dakota, NDSU, University of Minnesota, Saint Thomas, and UWEC. Each year we host tryouts and encourage all who may have interest in joining the team to come. Unfortunately, we can only carry a certain amount of players so cuts have to be made each year. This is in effect a baseball team and organization. This year tryouts will be Sept 9th through Sept 11. If you are unable for any reason to make these days please reach out we are very flexible.

The purpose of the Disc Golf Club of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is to:

1. Promoting and facilitating diverse disc golf programs both on campus and within the broader Stevens Point community.
2. Increasing awareness and appreciation of disc golf, a sport that is gaining global recognition.
3. Fostering collaboration and interaction among university students, faculty, staff, and the wider community.
4. Providing opportunities for students to develop leadership skills and enhance personal growth.
5. Uniting disc golf enthusiasts from the university and surrounding areas to build a vibrant community.
6. Raising funds and mobilizing volunteer efforts for the maintenance, repair, and enhancement of existing disc golf courses, as well as the development of new courses in the Stevens Point region.
7. Youth Engagement and Education: To promote disc golf among younger audiences through workshops, clinics, and school partnerships, fostering interest in the sport from an early age and encouraging healthy outdoor activities.
8. Sustainability Initiatives: To advocate for environmentally responsible practices within the disc golf community, including course maintenance and event organization, in order to protect and enhance the natural landscapes where we play.
9. Competitive Development: To create opportunities for members to participate in competitive disc golf events, including tournaments and leagues, helping to develop skills and sportsmanship while representing UW-Stevens Point.
10. Inclusivity and Accessibility: To ensure that disc golf is accessible to all individuals, regardless of skill level, background, or physical ability, by providing adaptive equipment and creating welcoming events that encourage participation from diverse groups.

We want to infuse the story of UWSP Esports in university marketing, recruiting, and advancement. Mission
Devoted to the study of pre-seventeenth-century culture, members work to recreate the arts and skills of the Middle Ages and Early Renaissance and demonstrate to all who would watch and learn what life would have been like during the Age of Chivalry.

We practice Rapier fighting as well as Heavy Armored fighting, we do combat against one other person, as well as melee combat once you are more experienced.

Along with our fighting practices we do art and sciences, where we recreate different arts and skills that were done during medieval times, such as rope making, bookbinding, armor making, and more.

Our group also travels to SCA events, where there is the opportunity to fight in different Rapier and Heavy Armor tournaments, meet new people and see different types of arts and sciences.

**please note our SCA Fighter's Practices & A&S nights are our meetings, anyone is welcome to come to them, no experience or equipment is required**
