The Adventure Club is an organization dedicated to the exploration of the unknown; to travel to parts beyond for the sole sake of the journey. These journeys consist of various physically demanding outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, backpacking, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, and any other conceivable activity of this nature. We aim to increase members’ knowledge and experience of these activities through jaunts and journeys throughout the state and country. The goal of the Adventure Club is to subsidize travel expenses and maintain a collection of community equipment to facilitate these expeditions so that UWSP students can be enriched by some of the most fulfilling pursuits on earth.

The UWSP Airsoft Club is dedicated to promoting and participating in the sport of airsoft. The club is open to all students who are interested in airsoft, regardless of their skill level or experience. The main goal of the UWSP Airsoft Club is to provide an environment for its members to participate in airsoft games and events. The Association of Art Historians and Scholars (AAHS) exists to serve any and all students that have an interest or passion for Art History. You do not have to be an Art History student to join!

Despite our incredibly formal name, we like to keep things relaxed and casual.

The purpose of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers of the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point is to promote engagement in and around: backcountry hunting and angling; the conservation of wilderness, backcountry, and public lands; the protection of fish and wildlife that rely on clean water and wilderness; and the public’s access to these recreational opportunities. The Chapter will serve by creating a community bringing together students, faculty, and staff and providing an environment conducive for veteran, novice, and aspiring outdoors-people alike to learn and participate in Chapter gatherings.

Baldwin Hall is one of 13 residence hall communities at UWSP. It is located in the South Debot Quad and is home to new, returning, and transfer students.

Women and men are housed in a "scattered" room configuration; restroom facilities are available on each floor for men and women (restrooms are single-sexed.) Gender neutral bathrooms are available in the lower level.

Baldwin Hall was renovated in summer 2008.

Students and staff of the University Center gathered in spring 1997 to put their ideas for the brewhaus on paper and put a plan in motion.

The department formerly known as Recreational Services was moving to Allen Center to create better access to their equipment. The space it was vacating was unique in size and structure; some paneled walls, carpeted floor, cement floor and a variety of pipes running through the ceiling. It was a "perfect" place for a coffeehouse/pub!

The organizing committee struggled for a long time with a name for the department. But after seeing the location and the budget, the "basement" theme seemed appropriate. Since a lot more than coffee and beer would be brewing in the new area, the committee combined the physical location with what was happening and came up with the "Basement Brewhaus."

To keep with the theme and the budget, the staff spent the entire summer before opening scavenging through rummage sales looking for furniture, lamps, board games and anything else in a typical basement recreation room. The staff also spent countless hours painting water pipes, putting up wall decorations and arranging furniture.​

Today, the Basement Brewhaus hosts performances, sells hot and cold beverages and provides a fun filled atmosphere.

The purpose of the club baseball team is to provide an opportunity for students to continue to play the game we all know and love. This team provides baseball for students that is separate to the varsity team and separate from their respective summer leagues. Our team plays ball for the NCBA; Through which we are a Division two team in the Northern Plains West Conference. We compete against teams in the past like UW-Madison, UW-Lacrosse, Winona State, and Northern Illinois to name a few. This year we will be going and facing the top dogs University of North Dakota, NDSU, University of Minnesota, Saint Thomas, and UWEC. Each year we host tryouts and encourage all who may have interest in joining the team to come. Unfortunately, we can only carry a certain amount of players so cuts have to be made each year. This is in effect a baseball team and organization. This year tryouts will be Sept 9th through Sept 11. If you are unable for any reason to make these days please reach out we are very flexible.

The College of Natural Resources (CNR) at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) is widely regarded as the nation’s leading undergraduate natural resource program with deep roots in Wisconsin’s strong conservation heritage, inspired by pioneering leaders such as Aldo Leopold, John Muir and Gaylord Nelson. We currently have more than 10,000 alumni, over 1700 undergraduate majors and 180 faculty and staff.

The strength of our program is in its interdisciplinary approach and emphasis on hands-on field experiences. Students within the Forestry, Wildlife Ecology, Fisheries and Water Resources and Soils Disciplines participate in a summer field experience at one of our field stations or in Europe. During these summer experiences students gain knowledge and skills that they can use in real world situations. Our students within the Paper Science and Engineering Department culminate their program with a paper mill internship where they gain real world experience. CPS consists of four academic units, which house 19 different undergraduate majors, 9 minors, 16 graduate programs and a number of additional options.

Sentry School of Business and Economics offers bachelor’s degrees in accounting, business administration, business economics, data analytics, finance, management, marketing as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Applied Leadership and Decision-Making.

School of Education offers bachelor’s degrees in early childhood education, elementary education, physical education and special education. SOE also offers minors in early childhood special education and exceptional educational needs as wells as a master’s degrees in education and an Ed.D. in Educational Sustainability. SOE also provides the required education coursework for all UWSP teacher certification programs.

The UWSP Counseling Center provides mental health services to the UWSP campus community. We provide individual and group psychotherapy and we act as consultants for the entire campus when a student or staff member encounters a person or situation that concerns them. The UWSP Counseling Center provides education & prevention programs throughout the year, targeted at increasing awareness of mental health and preparing campus community members to be responsive when complicated situations involving mental health arise. We respect and appreciate individual differences and cultural diversity. Our staff is sensitive to the uniqueness that arises from different backgrounds, sexual orientations and gender identities, financial resources, religious affiliations, veteran statuses and levels of ability. Therapists at the UWSP Counseling Center work collaboratively with students to promote positive changes in a manner consistent with the student's own worldview. Devoted to the study of pre-seventeenth-century culture, members work to recreate the arts and skills of the Middle Ages and Early Renaissance and demonstrate to all who would watch and learn what life would have been like during the Age of Chivalry.

We practice Rapier fighting as well as Heavy Armored fighting, we do combat against one other person, as well as melee combat once you are more experienced.

Along with our fighting practices we do art and sciences, where we recreate different arts and skills that were done during medieval times, such as rope making, bookbinding, armor making, and more.

Our group also travels to SCA events, where there is the opportunity to fight in different Rapier and Heavy Armor tournaments, meet new people and see different types of arts and sciences.

**please note our SCA Fighter's Practices & A&S nights are our meetings, anyone is welcome to come to them, no experience or equipment is required**

The goal of this organization is to educate, promote, and practice the sport of fly-fishing and to encourage lawful and ethical fishing practices to the student of UWSP, while having a fun and sociable time!

Club Meetings: Tuesdays at 6:00 PM in C.B.B. Room 166

The lectures and hands on fishing members receive at the club are fly category and tying seminars, trout scouting trips, fly-rod casting clinics, small day, and weekend trips, and two big weekend trips to the Wisconsin Driftless Region per academic year.
Our club meetings comprise of said fly category and tying seminars, guest speakers, trip coordination and more!
We also assist campus or outside organizations with restoration and clean-up projects whether it comes to trout streams, or anything environmental when we are called upon!
Occasionally, we like to take some breaks from the waters and have social event days, (such as bowling) to allow club members to meet each other and make new friends!

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) is the Commercial Interior Design Association with a global reach. We support design professionals, industry affiliates, educators, students, firms and their clients through our network of 15,000+ members across 58 countries. We advocate for advancements in education, design excellence, legislation, leadership, accreditation, and community outreach to increase the value and understanding of Interior Design as a profession that enhances business value and positively impacts the health and well-being of people’s lives every day.

There is a $5 membership fee to join IIDSA.

Welcome! InterVarsity is a community of students doing life together, seeking God, studying the Bible, and training leaders. No matter where you're at spiritually or what denomination you may come from, you're welcome to join us!

Large Groups: We gather every Monday at 7pm in the DUC Encore room. This time includes teaching from a local InterVarsity staff or pastor, time for fellowship, and musical worship. Join us to learn about God, pray, and connect with each other.

Small Groups: We have small groups of students that gather each week to study the Bible and build community. Join us to study, ask questions, and get to know each other. Use the link below to find a sign-up form.

Groups Investigating God (GIGs): If you aren't sure about what you believe about God, Jesus, Christianity, and the Bible, then GIG's are for you! Join others who are interested in asking questions, seeking truth, and looking into what the Bible has to say.

The Izaak Walton League of America is one of the oldest conservation organizations in the United States. It was founded in 1922, and has over 250 local chapters throughout the nation.

We're a diverse group of men and women dedicated to protecting our nation's soil, air, woods, waters and wildlife. Our strength lies in our grassroots and commonsense approach to solving local, regional and national conservation issues. While our interests span the spectrum of outdoor recreation and conservation activities, such as angling, birding, stream monitoring, wildlife photography and hunting, we all share one major goal: to protect and sustainably use America's rich resources, ensuring a high quality of life for all people, now and in the future.

This student chapter focuses on experiencing natural resources through community outreach programs and volunteering in conjunction with our local parent chapter (Bill Cook chapter).

Bill Cook Chapter clubhouse is located at 5341 WI-66, Stevens Point, WI 54482 (East past the Stevens Point municipal airport). The chapter grounds consist of about 153 acres of managed land that includes rifle, pistol, trap, and bow ranges for members' use. Our clubhouse provides space for education, meetings and special events.

If other clubs wish to use the grounds they must reach out to us no later then 30 day prior to their event. Club policy states that one must provide a 30 day notice and an application for use of the grounds, followed by the boards approval.

Meetings: Are held on Monday's, bi-weekly, in Room 170 of the TNR @ 5:00 pm.

We, the members of this organization, have formed this union under the pretense of creating, supporting, and learning about jazz and creative music. It is the hope that through our support of Jazz, specifically in the Stevens Point Area, we will foster greater understanding of jazz-- not only in members of this organization, but also in the general public. Knutzen Hall is one of the 13 residence hall communities on the UWSP main campus. It is located in the North Debot Quad and is home to new, returning, and transfer students.

The hall has men and women assigned in a "scattered" room configuration; restroom facilities are available on each floor for men and women (restrooms are single-sexed.) As of Fall 2020, 2nd floor has an all gender restroom (with showers) available in addition to the 2 all gender restrooms in the basement (no shower).

Knutzen Hall was renovated in summer 2013.

Our mission here on campus is to grow the love and respect of the beautiful game of lacrosse. Our team participates in the Great Lakes Lacrosse League (GLLL). The GLLL is a competitive league comprised of over 40 university teams from Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana, Iowa, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Michigan. Participating in UWSP Club Lacrosse is not only about playing a competitive and fasted paced game, its about the friendships and experiences that develop over our shared passion. We help support, advocate for, and refer students of color to both on and off campus resources to ensure that they don't just survive on campus but THRIVE. We also have a general hang out space that students are welcome to use to build community, study, watch Netflix/Disney +/Hulu, play games, check out a book, and enjoy free snacks and printing!

The Mycology Club of Stevens Point is an organization that talks about, cultivates, and watches movies about fungi. We go out into nature and admire, identify, and (sometimes) eat fungi that we find on our regularly scheduled forays (weather permitting). NDEO-UWSP is an organization comprised of students interested in dance and dance arts education opportunities. Each UWSP student is also a member of the National Dance Education Organization which offers access to current dance research and the opportunity to enter into a continuous dialogue about the current state of dance arts education and other pressing issues pertinent to the field of dance. Strengthening and growing this network with a national population provides a forum for intellectual and creative exchange.

The NDEO-UWSP Student Chapter will provide resources to:

Sponsor guest teaching artists
Organize performance and/or choreographic opportunities for students
Create enrichment activities for members

The purpose of the Julie E Zsido Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary is to provide recognition for those individuals who have been of outstanding service to, and who have provided excellent leadership in, the advancement of the residence hall system at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. It provides a means by which these leaders can continue to develop other leaders. NRHH maintains an active affiliation with the national organization of NRHH and the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH).

In 2007, this NRHH chapter was named in honor of Julie E Zsido, long-time leadership coach, for her service, commitment and dedication to this organization throughout many years.

In addition to being the largest student organization on campus, the NSLS is the nation's largest leadership honor society. Students are selected by their college for membership based on either academic standing or leadership potential. Candidacy is a nationally recognized achievement of honorable distinction. With 660 chapters, the NSLS currently has 1,031,787 members nationwide.

In addition to honorable distinction, the NSLS provides a step-by-step program for members to build their leadership skills through participation at their campus or online. Upon completion of the program, members receive their leadership certificate and take their place among the top student leaders at their campus and across the country. Members are able to list their affiliation on all statements of personal accomplishment, including their resume.

Membership is for life and provides access to benefits including scholarships and awards, exclusive on-campus events, employer recruitment through an online job bank, and discounts on computers, textbooks, grad school prep courses, insurance and much more.

National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is a pre-professional membership association for students either currently in or interested in the field of communication science and disorders (CSD). The political science major allows students to study the government and politics of the United States and other countries, their foreign affairs and foreign policies, and international relations. Students also have opportunities to explore other areas of interest in the social sciences and humanities. Our courses cover social scientific, theoretical, and philosophical approaches to politics. Students pursuing a political science degree often participate in campus and community politics and receive individual attention from faculty who teach small, dynamic classes. Some students earn internships in local, state, or national government. Many majors choose to study or intern abroad, even with the British Parliament.
