Job Description
Position Overview: We’re looking for a hands-on, creative, and organized person to manage our pottery studio. This role is perfect for someone who loves ceramics, enjoys working with people, and can keep a busy studio running smoothly. The Pottery Studio Manager oversees the daily operations of the pottery studio, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and creative environment for members, students, and staff. This role combines administrative, technical, and customer service responsibilities. The Studio Manager coordinates classes, maintains equipment and supplies, supports instructors and artists, and fosters a positive community culture. The position will begin at 10 hours per week, with a rate of $20 per hour. The pottery studio manager may work more hours as a teacher as business allows.
Qualifications
Qualifications ● Strong knowledge of ceramics processes, equipment, and materials. ● Previous pottery studio management or teaching experience preferred. ● Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. ● Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. ● Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse groups.
