SGA Executive Staff Application for 2026-2027 Academic Year

This application is for an Executive Staff position in the Student Government Association. These positions are supervised by the SGA President/Vice President and will serve a minimum of 10-15 hours a week (potentially more depending on the position).

Position Qualifications:
1. Must be a student at UWSP
2. Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
3. Must be carrying a credit load of at least 6 undergraduate or 3 graduate credits

General Responsibilities of all Executive staff members include the following:

1. Attend the weekly General Assembly Senate meetings every Thursday at 6:15 PM when school is in session.
2. Attend Executive Staff meetings as scheduled
3. Serve a minimum of 10 office hours a week in the SGA office.
4. Serve as chair for a specific committee outlined in the Bylaws.
5. Report to the President/Vice President
6. Sit on other committees as assigned
7. Represent the voice of students in your particular position
8. Keep students informed on topics before Senate and those discussed in SGA and University Committees
9. Be open to feedback from other students
10. When informed of a problem, try to find a solution, or utilize your resources to find the best person/dept. to address the issue
11. Become familiar with shared governance, finance, System policies and university policies, plus Robert's Rules of Order
