Hello Education Majors:

Week 3 is our first full week of classes. Make sure you are getting organized and managing your time. Lock in and work hard during the week so you can relax and recharge over the weekend.

Week 4 is here and along with it comes the back to school cold. Do your best to stay healthy. Wash your hands often and keep your germs to yourself. Students can schedule an appointment to be seen by a healthcare professional at the Health and Wellness Center. If it is determined you need a prescription, it can be filled for you. If you need over the counter medications to treat the symptoms, those can be provided to you as well. These services are included in the student fees you pay each semester. Don’t hesitate to schedule an appointment to be seen.

Reminders

• If you need to be accepted to the Professional Education Program, applications are due Tuesday, September 22nd by 4:00 pm. You do not need to wait for the results of your Viewpoint background check to apply. You just need to have ordered your background check before you turn in your application.

• Need a practicum placement? You can stop by or email a request by emailing SOE.practicum@uwsp.edu. ALL practicum placements need to be done through the OFE.

• Elementary, Special, Early Childhood, and Physical Education majors are encouraged to make an appointment with an advisor to create or adjust grad plans
