About Us
United Nations Student Organization strives to bring students together to understand the process of how international policies are created. Members will attend two conferences, one in Fall and one in Spring, to put their skills and knowledge to the test. UNSO will attend the American Model UN conference in Chicago during the Fall 2026 semester. Students will practice their networking, policy writing, and public speaking skills to represent different stances of their selected country. In the Spring 2027 semester UNSO will be attending the National Model UN conference (country still to be assigned) in New York City. The club has been attending this conference for 15+ years and has received awards for their work. Recently in 2024 they received an honorable mention delegation award when representing Cuba.
